Be a Cyber Surety Specialist in the North Carolina Air National Guard
As an Air National Guard Cyber Surety Specialist, you'll work with fixed and deployed information technology (IT) and telecommunications resources to monitor, evaluate and maintain systems, policy and procedures to protect clients, networks, data/voice systems and databases from unauthorized activity. This will involve identifying potential threats and resolving security violations.
Serving part-time in the Air Guard, you'll receive a regular monthly paycheck, along with low-cost life insurance, a military retirement plan, and eligibility for VA home loans. You'll also get money for college that is now transferable to your dependents through the Montgomery G.I. Bill. Plus, you may be able to serve where you live, without interrupting your civilian career. And as an Air Guard member, you'll have access to Base Exchange and Commissary shopping as well as free, space-available air travel.
