Be an Aerospace Maintenance Professional in the Ohio Air National Guard
As an Aerospace Maintenance Specialist the Air National Guard, you値l be responsible for keeping our aircraft flying. This will involve maintaining, servicing and inspecting aircraft, engines and equipment. You値l also supervise and assist in launching and recovering aircraft. To qualify, you値l need a high school diploma. Knowledge of aircraft systems and coursework in pneudraulics, physics and electronics desirable.
Serving part-time in the Air National Guard, you値l receive a regular monthly paycheck, along with low-cost life insurance, a military retirement plan, and eligibility for VA home loans. You値l also get money for college that is now transferable to your dependents through the Montgomery G.I. Bill.
